My boss just called to tell me not to come in today. Thank god! I worked 6 days last week and was going to work 7 this week. And I feel like crap. Sorry this took so long. New job has been cutting into my writing time but it's slowing down so I won't make the wait between this and chapter 8 almost a month, I promise. Hopefully this will make up for it. *cough*boykissing*cough* lol.

So I was cleaning out this 31 gallon rubbermaid that I keep all my books and extra notebooks (I seriously need to invest in another bookshelf) and I came across a very detailed outline of a Harry/Draco AU fic I was going to write about 4 years ago. When I say detailed, I mean I have the whole plot written out in extreme detail, a list of all the characters and pairings, even a whole page of things from that time period. It was going to be a colonial/revolution fic set in America somewhat inspired by "The Patriot" movie. I had originally started it out as non-magical but I may rethink that. Idk, I've had the idea in my head for years, haven't seen any H/D fics like it and would definitely like to write it but I want to finish Differentiating Thresholds first. I'm editing chapter 7 now so it should be up in the next two days. I still have part one to finish, then the interlude and then part two. No idea how many chapters part one is gonna be. I know how it ends and the major things that have to happen but everything else is vague and while I could attempt to start the AU fic at the same time, I don't know if I will. Just got a new job and while it's only part time for the moment that will take out writing time but....argh idk, I have to stop procrastinating is all.

Has anyone seen any H/D fics similar to that, in that time period? Just curious.

Of course there's a Neville/Luna fic I wanna write as well as an H/D DH-compliant including Epilogue fic I want to write too. Stupid plot bunnies.

I was hoping someone knows what fic this is. I read it ages ago and I'd like to read it again but I can't remember the title or the author. What I do remember is Harry goes into hell ala Dante's Inferno. I'm not sure if Draco goes with him or if he's already there, I think Harry may have been trying to rescue him but I'm not sure. I also think I remember something about Draco being tortured. Not really sure if it was slash or gen but I do know both boys were in it. I wish I could remember more but it was a couple years ago that I read it. Any help would be great.

  Chapter 7

Went to the Spice Girls concert last night. OMFG. Best concert ever. I've waited for over 10 years for it so the whole thing was like a completely surreal moment for me. Yes, I know I sound corny as hell, but I grew up with them. I was going through my teen years when the Spice Girls were big and the whole concept of girl power, of being a strong, beautiful, successful and independent woman stuck with me. 

The show itself was amazing. They all looked gorgeous of course and I have to say Mel C aka Sporty's voice is so amazing live. I've always thought she's had a great voice, but she completely blew me away. 

They all did their own solos, though Victoria (posh) didn't sing, just strutted down the catwalk so I don't think that really counts. lol. Mel B (scary) did Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way" which included tying up a man, a whip and lapdancing. God I love her. Emma (baby) did some mod 60's song, I sorta recognized it but I'm sure it must have been something off her recent cd. Geri (ginger) sang "It's Raining Men" which was just lovely with the great male dancers stripping off their shirts. haha. And Mel C (sporty) sang "I Turn to You." I love that song. 

When they did songs from when after Geri left the group they sang them as just the four of them until "Goodbye" which they included her in which I thought was nice. "Holler" was kinky as shit. There was a point where they had  the men on leashes walking them like they were dogs. I swear I thought the lady sitting next to me with her daughter was going to stomp out in a huff. lmao.

Anyway, it was everything I thought it would be and more. Me and J sang our hearts out and danced like crazy people. I ended up buying a shirt and the program which is just gorgeous. I usually don't buy shit at concerts cause it costs so much but this was worth it. 

Next throwback concert: New Kids on the Block!!! 

Sorry for the delay between chapters, I had the whole chapter done then scrapped three-quarters of it and rewrote it. My muse seems to be taking the story in a different direction than I had originally planned, not that I'm complaining.
